How Industry Partnerships Are De-Risking the Future of Energy
At Innovation HUB24, the Norwegian port industry confirmed a powerful truth: solving hard climate problems requires a coalition of the willing, and Sine Delta is ready to climb.
In august Kristiansand became the epicentre of a crucial conversation for Norway’s future. At the Innovation HUB24 conference, leaders from across the maritime and port industries gathered with a single, urgent question: how do we decarbonise one of the world’s most critical—and hardest-to-abate—sectors?
The consensus was clear, and powerfully articulated by Mads Bentzen Billesø, Head of Innovations and Partnerships at DFDS: The easy solutions are no longer enough.
“We can no longer pick the low-hanging fruits; it’s simply not enough. We need to climb higher, reaching the outer branches where the big, ripe fruits are. This journey involves risk, pain, and possibly failure. We might fall or get wounded, and having support, like someone to hold the ladder, is wise.”
This metaphor resonates deeply with our journey at Sine Delta. Reinventing wind energy from the ground up is the very definition of climbing towards the highest-hanging fruit. It is an arduous process of technical development, testing, and iteration. The risks are real, and the path is not for the faint of heart.
But Mads’s insight reveals the most critical factor for success: you cannot make the climb alone.
The Sine Delta “Ladder”
For us, “having someone to hold the ladder” isn’t a abstract idea; it’s the foundation of our strategy. Our ladder is built from a network of support that de-risks our mission for everyone involved:
Our Early Investors & Partners: Those who saw the potential in our patented bladeless technology Collectricity® early on and backed a bold, forward-thinking IP strategy. Their belief enables our rigor.
Industry Access Programs: Our acceptance into the Autodesk Technology Impact Program provides us with the world’s premier design and simulation tools. This isn’t just software; it’s a force multiplier that allows us to solve complex engineering problems in a digital space, saving immense time and capital.
Pioneering Future Clients: The dialogues we had with leaders from major ports in Norway were not sales conversations. They were collaborative explorations into the future of energy infrastructure. These industry pioneers understand that solving their decarbonisation challenges requires partnering with innovators today to build the solutions of tomorrow.
Honesty in the Climb
We are committed to intellectual honesty. We are in the active technical development phase. This means we are defined not by unproven promises, but by our process: meticulous digital simulation, transparent third-party testing, relentless iteration, and a commitment to building technology that is both powerful and practical.
The “ripe fruit” we are all climbing towards is a future where industrial facilities and data centers can generate their own clean, silent, and space-efficient power. The conversations at Innovation HUB24 confirmed that the market is not just ready for this, it is actively seeking it.
Join the Coalition
The climb is underway. The support structure is in place. We are not just building a turbine, but we are building a coalition dedicated to a smarter, more sustainable energy future.
